I dealt with something similar when I had to reorganize old client data. Downloading wasn’t an option for me either — too much stuff and not enough storage. What actually worked was learning how to transfer files from box to dropbox without pulling anything onto the computer. It let me mount both cloud accounts side by side on my Mac, so I could drag files between them like regular folders. For large archives, it was a lifesaver — no sync delays, no disk overload, and way less waiting.
