Need Proper Coverage for My Modified Bike

Hey riders, I’ve been upgrading my bike with custom parts lately, and now I’m wondering about custom motorcycle insurance. A friend told me that regular policies might not fully cover modifications if something happens. That made me a bit worried because I’ve spent a lot on upgrades. Has anyone here insured a customized motorcycle before? Did it cost a lot more, and which companies actually understand custom builds?
