Could TrustNote be used to verify student transcripts and test scores?
5 days ago by parktutoring
I work in education tech, building systems for a tutoring and college-prep company in California. One recurring problem: colleges and scholarship programs still rely on PDFs and emailed score reports that are easy to fake and slow to verify.
A few questions for the community:
- Could TrustNote's DAG ledger store a hash of a transcript or SAT/ACT score report, so a college can verify it wasn't altered?
- Would a smart contract be practical for issuing tamper-proof course completion certificates?
- How would you handle student privacy, since the actual records shouldn't be public on-chain?
Has anyone built something like this, or is there a reason it wouldn't work?
